As part of our ABA therapy programs, families enrolled at Wellspring Learning Centers have the opportunity to participate in regular ABA-based parent guidance and training sessions. These sessions, led by our experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), are designed to ensure the effective implementation of your child’s treatment plan at home and other public settings.
This comprehensive support includes bi-weekly meetings, quarterly seminars, and annual family events, allowing you to stay informed, engaged, and equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to promote your child’s progress outside of ABA sessions.
During our parent guidance sessions you can expect a collaborative approach as we develop treatment strategies, goals, and behavior support skills. Through these sessions, we create a supportive and empowering environment where we share knowledge, exchange ideas, and build a plan together for your child’s success.
Bi-Weekly Parent Meetings
Our bi-weekly parent meetings serve as a valuable time for collaboration between our team and parents. During these meetings, we discuss your child’s progress, address arising challenges, and evaluate the effectiveness of their ABA therapy early intervention treatment. Through these conversations, we can make necessary adjustments to the treatment plan so it remains tailored to your child’s changing needs.
Quarterly Seminars
Our quarterly seminars provide a valuable opportunity for us to collaborate with parents on topics specifically related to the unique needs of children with autism. During these sessions, we cover a wide range of topics, including establishing effective nighttime routines, potty training tips, and engaging in purposeful play. By addressing these important areas, we aim to equip parents with the resources and skills necessary to enhance their child’s daily routines, foster independence, and strengthen the parent-child bond.
Annual Family Events
We organize annual family events that provide an opportunity for our clients to participate in a calendar event specifically designed to be sensory-friendly and judgment-free. By offering these inclusive experiences, we aim to strengthen the sense of community among our families and create lasting memories in a setting that embraces and celebrates the diversity of our families.
Our Testimonials
Research consistently highlights the significance of active parent participation in promoting positive outcomes for children receiving ABA therapy. Parent involvement ensures consistency, reinforces learned skills, and facilitates implementation of new behaviors across different environments. It also strengthens the parent-child bond and allows for a more comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment. By providing you with the skills and strategies through parent guidance, you’ll feel empowered to effectively support your child’s progress both during ABA sessions and in everyday life.

This means the amount of therapy and level of parent involvement varies as well. Skill training programs involving discrete trial training and natural environment training can require several hours each day. Throughout the day and week, the goal is to create various teaching opportunities through play for your child so that therapists can prompt, shape and reinforce appropriate responses.
Parents will be required to attend bi-weekly family meetings and periodic training sessions to ensure generalization of skills learned during ABA sessions. These training sessions will also help you learn how to better support your child in their daily life.
